Yes, you can by splitting up the directory based on categories by using the category shortcode option.
This also works work any of the premium templates. Here’s a FAQ to the cMap template which explains how.

Yes, because the directory is embedded using a shortcode, you could add the directory to existing pages limited to the correct category.
