Multiple dates in Calendar

Hello.

I am currently working on an event calendar which is coming along nicely. I’ve spent countless hours scouting the plugins and themes pages looking for event management tools, however none were to my liking. I eventually came across a plugin that made future (planned) posts show up on the homepage and the default WP calendar.

So the site now uses posts as events.

I however need a more flixible calendar widget. One where you can select a ‘from date’ and a ‘to date’, and select one, if not multiple, categories. The search would then check for posts in the checked categories with the selected dates.

If anyone’s got any tips on any plugins that might be up this ally, the advices is much appreciated. I am certainly no coder but I know my way around som php, css and html so similar plugins that can be tweaked is also desirable.
