Hey,
It does say in one of those topics that proper support for multiple columns is available since version 1.11 🙂 So I’m guessing you have a different problem, can you show a screenshot, maybe I can figure it out.
Yep, you’re right it’s something else 🙂
I expected to see widgets/columns spread over a centered container (as for a 1 column row / or in fullwidth template, respectively). That confused me.
Next question then, as in fact I’m quite a newbie — If I set a 1170px size (css override) to the multiple columns row, would that work out? Still responsive?
Cannot use the Fullwidth page template. There is no way to have a fullscreen row background image with this one.
By the way and if there is still an issue here, could you please remind me how to send a screenshot?
Thanks again,
SFL
Voilà,
I added the “container” class in the multiple-columns-row attributes and Abracadabra! That did the job. Now I hope that a theme update will not prove my laziness wrong.
Will mark this topic as resolved, unless you suggest a more reliable solution?
Cheers,
Ammie
So what bothers you is that a two column row is wider than a 1-column row? If yes, then your solution with adding the container should be reliable enough.
Yes. Because I have only a short sign-up form in col 1. It was stuck to the far left side of the screen, which made the page design really unbalanced. This also is what made me confused as multicolumn rows support with the front page template –my apologies.
Thank you for your attention and very quick answers. That’s impressive and much appreciated 🙂
