    Hi,

We’re using list view to show events for a internet radio (http://www.purple-radio.co.uk/). We’re finding that multiday events are showing out of the correct sort order on the second day.

So a show that starts at 10pm on the 1st July, and finishes at midnight (00:00 2nd July) is showing at the correct place on the first day, but then at 10pm again on the second day.

    Eg.

    Friday 1 July
    18:00 – 20:00
    Good Piebrations with Simon
    22:00 – 00:00
    The Rotary Club with Marcus

    Saturday 2 July
    17:00 – 19:00
The Shipton St. Session with Andy Devine
    19:00 – 21:00
    Lost In Music
    21:00 – 23:00
Tales from the Hard Drive with Boss
    22:00 – 00:00
    The Rotary Club with Marcus

    23:00 – 02:00
A Saucer of Cream with Miss Kitty

This is the same for events finishing at any time the following day (so Miss Kitty’s will also show in the wrong location on the 3rd).

We’ve resolved the issue for the moment by only showing the event on the first day – but this is non-ideal long term. We’ve been using the plugin for a while, but have recently upgraded (Version 3.1.1). We think this issue only started to occur after this.

    Thanks and regards,

    LC

This is just by design and has been there since the 3.0.0 update. It sorts the multi-day events to the top of the list on subsequent days so it is easy to keep track of the multi-day events.

    Hi Nick,

The problem is that the multi-day events are NOT being sorted to the top of the list. The multi day event is mixed up in the middle of the following days listing.

If the multi day event was at the top there wouldn’t be a problem here.

    Regards,

Are you talking about on the first day of the event or on the days that follow? On the first day it will not be sorted to the top but it will be every day after that.

I am talking about the days that follow. Please see my example above.

The Rotary Club with Marcus which starts on the Friday and continues to Saturday (the day that follows), should be sorted to the top of the Saturday listing according to your response, but it is not. It appears in the in its time slot for the previous day.

YES I understand this, but it IS NOT being “sorted to the top” “every day after that”.

    Please look at my example.

Do you have a link to the calendar so I can see?

You could try running through this to see if there are any conflicts: http://docs.simplecalendar.io/troubleshooting-theme-plugin-widget-conflicts/
