    Hi there,

    Fantastic plugin! Does the 2FA also supports Multi-Vendor marketplaces like Dokan (where i.e. a user role „vendor“ will be created in WordPress/Woocommerce).

    Regarding your question… May I ask you to clarify this little bit for us, please?

    If you want to offer 2FA to your users, you can use the shortcode feature:
    https://help.getshieldsecurity.com/article/429-how-to-add-shields-2famfa-ui-anywhere-on-your-site

    If that’s not what you’re looking for, can you just provide more details about your request, what exactly do you need, please?

    Hey Jelena,

    Thank you so much for your swift reply. Not just the plugin is great – also the support! 🙂

    I was more referring to the user roles in WordPress/Woocommerce in general. So in case of using Dokan, there’s a new user role available which is called “Vendor” (beside general WP roles like admin, editor, etc).

    So would the Pro Version of Shield Security “recognize” this user role to then enable 2FA for example only for the role “vendor”?

    Hi,

    Currently the ‘roles’ setting only apply to enforcement of 2FA by email.

    With ShieldPRO you can add to the current list of these user roles using simple WordPress filter, so yes, you could use it to add the role ‘vendor’ and enforce 2FA by email on all users with that role.
