    Hi,
I wonder if the import/transfer for files/images that are part of a MT-post works.
Or do I have to do that manully.
I checked the forums (maybe not long enough) but couldn’t find anything.

Import all the entries, and keep the directories to which you uploaded all the files when you were an MT user, and you are all set.

I see, thanks. The only problem is I’m changing my domain. Think I have to do it manually then 😉

Copy the directory with the files over to the new domain. If the new domain and the old domain are in the same directory, everything’s okay and nothing needs to be done.
In other words, the files should be at the same address relative to your index.php in the new domain as they were in the old.

So the links are relative to the root, then I just move the folders (files/images) into the new domain root dir and everything works. Great, I’ll try that once I find an hour extra time.
    Thanks a lot so far

mt does write absolute links as far as i remember. however, there is an mt-plugin that converts them into relative links.
