Mr Tailor appears to be a premium theme, so we can’t download and install it here. Please could you post a link to your site so I can see the problems you’re running into?

Max menu just doesn’t override the Theme’s mega menu. It’s a theme from the same developers who made the Shopkeeper theme, you have posted instructions for that one. Would it work if I sent you the theme?

Shopkeeper is one of the more difficult themes to integrate with, due to the way they have coded the theme. If Mr Tailor is similar, it may not be suitable for integration with Max Mega Menu (or any other mega menu plugin, as they all work in a similar way by overriding wp_nav_menu). Mr Tailor might be more suitable but I would need to see the code.
However, manual integration should work:

We can write instructions for premium themes, but only do so for Pro licence holders (and if we can’t work it out, we would refund you).

It worked. I only replaced the menu bar with Max Mega Menu, not the other elements in the header. I had to keep the theme’s mobile menu but it certainly worked well.
