mqTranslate options – Cannot save language name

    I am trying to change the names of the languages on my site, primarily so that instead of saying something like: “Sorry, this entry is only available in Français.” It will say “Sorry, this entry is only available in French.” I added a hook to allow this, which should work (see: http://zzlatev.com/qtranslate-localize-language-names/)

    The problem I have run into is when I try to change the Name of my two languages in options, it shows that it saves but whenever I go back to it it has reverted to what it was previously. Case in point,
    (1) Name : English
    I changed it to…
    (2) Name : [:en]English[:fr]Anglais
    I then click Save Changes >>
    The page reloads showing Options Saved at the top, with my substitution (line 2) in tact. I leave the page, go back to it later, and it says:
    (3) Name: English

    I feel like there must be something that I am missing here… but I don’t possibly know where I have gone wrong!
