• We are trying to switch our website over from drupal to wordpress, and are struggling with getting our history of 800+ sermons to display properly.

    https://escondido-opc.org/sermons/1samuel30_keele/

Note the page says 1 Sam 30, but if you hover over the download link, it points to a file Luke6v26-36, and that’s the sermon that actually plays in the player.

From looking at this sermon in the WP editor, the sermon is pointed at the correct file which is this one:
    [audio src="http://escondidoopc.org/sites/default/files/sermons/sermon_1Samuel30_Keele.mp3" /]

(You should be able to open that directly in a tab and verify that URL is correct) Here’s a snapshot of the editor:

    What is going on here?

Note this is one of hundreds of sermons that behave like this (every time playing/downloading the same wrong sermon from Luke 6) Is there a way to fix this systematically, without having to touch all the sermons individually? Going through and fixing hundreds of sermons manually would be way too labor intensive.

Note also new sermons that we are uploading are working fine, it is our archive we are having trouble with.

  • Hi,

We could create a SQL query that could fix the issue, but I’m wondering how it occurred in the first place?

Were the sermons imported via some tool/plugin?

Thank you for your patience so far
