Moving WP-installation to root fail

    Can you describe where your working installation was in your filesystem and then what changes you made by editing files or moving them around?

    My installation originally was in a folder “wp” and I moved it out of this one to root-level.
    Before I did that, I went to the settings > general tab and changed the urls from:
    http://www.pilgrims-sprogskole.dk/wp
    to
    http://www.pilgrims-sprogskole.dk

    What I was surprised to notice, was that when I saved the changes I got the 404 page not found – which I interpreted as “Now I’ve moved, and you better follow buster”

    Then I moved all content to the new location – root.

    Ok guys – now my site somehow showed up?! I guess there was a cache somewhere in the system. Anyhow I still have a problem with the references to images. They still point to the old destination.

    Is there anything I can do? I tried to install the “Velvet Blue update URLs” and run it, but with absolutely no effect.

    Hope you can help somehow.
