Moving wp directory on website

I’ve been designing a website for some time under http://www.website.co.uk/wordpress, making sure everything was in shape before moving it all simply to http://www.website.co.uk. I was hoping it would be as simple as moving all the wordpress files to the root directory. Apparently it isn’t. How would I go about making this move?
