• Hi,
I have a blog with 1,372 user Subscribers. I have installed the Email Subscriber PlugIn to get automatic notifications to users for each post. The user page does not seem to have the ability to export the user list as a CSV file, or anything else. Can you tell me how to get a list or to export the users and their emails from the User page?
    Thanks

  • Hey there.

You’ll need to provide some further details please. So this blog with 1,372 subscribers, they are in a WP blog right?

Just wanna check you’re not trying to move them from a non-WP to WP site. 🙂

How are they stored in that site, as users?

And how is the Email Subscriber plugin looking for people to mail, is it WP users?

Perhaps you can link me to the plugin in question.

Without knowing all the details I’d be guessing what you’ve done, where you’re going and what needs to be done. For example if you wanted to export WP users you could use this:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/export-users-to-csv/
    http://wordpress.org/plugins/export-user-data/

But then what, where do you take them.

There is a chance you might need to get pretty custom here, and that might require you to hire a developer if you can’t do it yourself but again that depends what you want and how your setup works. 🙂

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Take care.

    Hi Tim
The blog is PamBrownsAdventures.com. It is a WP blog but hosted outside of WP.
I tried the plugin that you recommended to create the CSV file (Export Users to CSV) and it works fine.
Too bad that I now have two Subscriber lists. One is the original Users page in WP and the other is the Subscribers page under the plugin Email Subscribers, that I seem to need to automatically send notices when the new posts are made.
The User page will list all registered users (required to add comments) while the Subscriber page for Email Subscribers lists only those that have registered to be notified of new posts.
    Thanks

I’m still not sure which email subscribers plugin you’re using. I see two with a similar name on WP.org and my company also has one that works of the WP users.

    If it’s this one:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/email-subscribers/

    Then it claims to:

Using plugin Import and Export options admins can easily import registered users and commenters to subscriptions list.

    Take care.

Yes, that is the one. I used it and it does what I need.
