    Hi,

    I’m looking to be able to move a row from one of my tables to another by use of a button. I’m currently using tablepress for an IT based inventory and the idea behind it is that i’d want to move an entry from the inventory table over to the disposals table.

    Is this possible? and if so how would i go about doing this?

    Thanks, Craig

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    I see what you mean, but unfortunately, I can’t think of a possible solution approach for this. Sorry.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hey there,

    that’s what I’m looking for too.

    Have two tables:

    * upcoming gigs
    * past gigs

    Would be cool if it is possible to move automatically a row with a gig from yesterday into the past gigs table.

    Hi,

    as mentioned above, there’s no such possibility at this time.

    Especially for things like “gigs” or events, you could however try a different approach: You could simply maintain all events in one large table, and either mark them as “upcoming” or “past” manually (via an extra column) and then use the Row Filter Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/row-filter/ to generate the smaller/filtered versions. Or you could even automate that by using a second Extension, see https://wordpress.org/support/topic/display-by-date/

    Regards,
    Tobias
