MOVING SITE

Basically, you want to login to your site at

http://www.domain.com/blog/wp-login.php

Go to Settings > General and change both ‘WordPress address’ and ‘Site address’ URLs

from http://www.domain.com/blog/ to http://www.domain.com/

After you save the changes you’ll be kicked out of the site until you…

Then via FTP, you’ll need to move all the files inside /blog up one directory to reside directly in /public_html

Then you’ll have an empty directory called /blog which you would delete.

Once the files are moved, you should be able to login at:

http://www.domain.com/wp-login.php

You will probably need to update old image paths in your posts depending on your setup.
