• Hello,
I currently have a blog on wordpress.com. But, I’ve purchased the domain, selected a host, installed the wordpress software and am looking to set up at my own domain. I’m going to be using the plugin (http://www.technosailor.com/wordpress-to-wordpress-import/) to export my posts from wordpress.com and I’m going to import them at my wordpress.org site. I’m going to change my feedburner original feed to point to my new site for its feed. I’m looking to provide a seemless move for my readers. I’d like the subscribers to be pointed to my new site from their reader when my first new post goes live.

My question is will all my old imported posts get fed to bloglines and other bookmarking sites because they will look new to feedburner? Are there other problems I’m not seeing right now with this move?

I’d appreciate any advice anyone in the forum might have. Thanks!
