I fell silly, but I can’t figure out the URL format on the options page for Structured Blogging (File Upload Directory: and URL of Upload Location:)
I’ve tried ..
File Upload Directory:
/home/blogname/public_html/wpdirectory/wp-images/structured/
URL of Upload Location:
http://www.url.com/wpdirectory/wp-images/structured/
or /wpdirectory/wp-images/structured/
I get this error message:

kottke is doing it by having 3 blogs, one for words, one for books, one for movies… he has MT mix it all up at the front end. Seems a waste of database to me (not a dig at kottke… i do so love his hypertext)

You will need to tell it the path to the File upload directory, and the URL of upload directory.
For example, if your blog is at http://www.myblog.com/, and the path to the blog is /home/me/public_html/, and the path to the upload directory is /home/me/public_html/sbimages/, then the URL to the upload directory will be:
http://www.myblog.com/sbimages/

there is a killer reviews plugin, its called starred review, and can be found here: http://sevennine.net/projects/starred-review/
it didn’t work right-out-the-box for me, so I made a wee patch: http://www.metacomment.com/blog/2006/05/14/starred-review-patch/

if you have a look at the original author’s front page, you’ll see the ‘badge’ starred review creates. its really nice once you customise it.

i’ve not really built apon this since the last post. can anyone leave a message about their encounters with this / similar plugins. i’m really happy with starred review, it works. maybe that’s why i haven’t posted more about it. there’s not a lot to say.
