Have you redone your .htaccess and permalinks ?

I redid the .htaccess, but I didn’t realize I had to redo the permalinks. I assume by “redo” you mean to go to the Options/Permalinks tab and “Update Permalink Structure.” Anyway, that seems to have worked. Thanks!

Podz, I see the “update permalinks”, but I’m at a loss as to how to ‘redo .htaccess’…can you point me in the right direction in the codex?
Just click ‘Update’ on the permalinks page.
If WP can see and write to the .htaccess, it will and that’s that.
If it cannot do both, it will generate the rules and tell you to do it.

In my case, I just uploaded the .htaccess file and set the permissions so that it’s writable. (I kept a copy of everything before I moved!)
Thanks very much for this tip. My update to 1.5.2 gave me a similar problem.

I made a .htaccess file reading the post here, now I just need to know what to do next with it.
