    Hey all,

I’m in the process of a complete overhaul of my site. Currently I’ve WP installed in the root directory and it displays everything, including my portfolio things through Pods. I want to seperate my Portfolio from my blog. For that I’ll make a seperate portfolio database, management system, etc. That way WP will only function as my blog content system. In that light I want to move WP to its own subdirectory: /blog
I know this can be done, but I noticed here that the index.php file remains in the root. Can I move it to the subdirectory as well, with the rest of the WP files?

If I can indeed move it, are there any additional things I need to do before or after the move to make everything work like normal again?

BTW, I’ll update to the newest version of WP when the move is done.

    Thanks for the help!
