Actually that’s part of another domain in the same hosting plan which has nothing to do with my blog. So I do not want any unrelated pages to be connected with that website. I want the admin panel to be trulyinspiredmom.com/wp-admin.
Since that name is currently hosted with wordpress.com, I cannot use the same name to setup the wordpress.org blog. If there is a way to transfer it without having to make the website down for a few hours, that would be great!

Uh? That’s the login url for your site at http://www.gsksolutionssingapore.com/TIM_Setup/ The one you said that you couldn’t log into.

Then you will need to make a series of changes in the current WP install.
Since that name is currently hosted with wordpress.com
Step 1 will be to have the domain name pointed at your self-hosted install – either by wordpress.com or by arranging a transfer to your hosting company. we can’t help with that here, You will need to contact the folks over at wordpress.com about it.
Thanks for the response esmi, but I guess I created some confusion. I can log on to the other website and thats how I created a blog setup there to try the template etc…
Also, If I am not wrong, I can change the name servers myself. So the transfer itself will not be troublesome.
I want to know if there is a way to backup my new settings (which I have been working on in the other website’s folder) and use it once the name server has been changed? Like I found the “clone” option, but when I tried it, the settings were not right in the new installation.
If none of these work, I would have to do the only way I know now. Change the name servers and then work on the template and plugins when the blog is already up. It would make the blog look ugly for a few hours though!
It looks like there must have been a better way to ask what I wanted to ask.
By settings I mean the template and modifications and plugins that would need to be installed. It would take a couple of hours to do it (but I have already modified everything on the other website’s folder, let’s call it temporary blog). I have already exported the posts, comments etc from my wordpress.com blog (trulyinspiredmom.com) to the temporary blog too. So this temporary blog is what I want in my old address.
I used the clone option again. I don’t know why it didn’t work earlier. It worked this time.
Thanks for the help!
