    I have used this plugin, free and paid versions, for different websites over the last few years. In general I was very happy with it and it used to be my favorite plugin. Support was good. The custom functionalities of the paid versions (for rule based donations) were a lifesaver. The functionalities and features have been pretty good.

    However, more recently I noticed the free version does not allow the website owner and the contact form submitted to each get an email notification of the contact form submission. That is pretty basic. So I will be looking for another plugin for some of my websites.

    Another issue is that when I receive promotional mail they come from the same email address as the support tickets, which is a real pain, because when I am trying to clean up my inbox I have to manually select out the promotional mails I delete from the support tickets that I keep.

    Thanks for the genuine review of your experience with us.

    To address your concerns:

    1. That’s strange. Please open a support ticket and send a screenshot so we can look into that, because both WPForms versions still allow multiple email addresses to receive form notifications. Here’s a screenshot showing an example of our smart tags as well as a manual email set in the Settings > Notifications > Send To Email Address field: https://a.supportally.com/i/56LcAm.
    2. I understand what you mean. The easiest workarounds that come to mind are:
    • We can have our newsletter/promos sent to a different email address (which can also be sorted in the same support ticket).
    • Or depending on your email provider, filters can be set to exclude emails that have a specific word/phrase in the subject/body. Since our support emails generally include the word “support” that should make your email clean up smoother.
