Most useful plugin ever

I tried a different plugin to insert some PHP code in to my second website and it broke my website! I couldn’t believe there were no safeguards in place in the event my code was flawed. The whole point of attempting a plugin was so I could ‘insert’ the code I needed directly into the individual pages where it was necessary instead of trying to mess with my child theme’s functions.php file.

And then I found xyzscript’s Insert PHP Code Snippet plugin and it (figuratively) saved my life! As an amateur coder, I get my syntax wrong or don’t pay close enough attention to punctuation or use deprecated WP code or make any number of other mistakes. Not once have I ever coded anything that then broke my whole website. The page where the snippet was placed may have ‘fatal errors’, but I can still access the code snippet on the plugin page and fix it.

If you are one who prefers the ease of a page builder but may occasionally need the convenience of adding customizations per page ‘on the fly’, look no further than this plugin.
