  • I have configured more than 65 questions in a form – probably beyond what has been tested or perhaps beyond what it is intended for.

    I’ve noticed that Captcha integration was gone and that I could not save questions anymore.
    Realizing that I probably hit some limitation, I started to delete question (up to 10+), but that didn’t bring the Captcha integration back.
    I also noticed that I could not save any settings any more (like under “Basic Settings”, “Advanced” and “Labels”, which is causing pain, cause I haven’t configured my customized labels and a confirmation email, etc.

    Any suggestions how to fix this?
    I’ve also tried to copy settings from another form, this did not work either unfortunately…

    Thanks for the link, I’ve verified the php version and contacted the company who is hosting my website to explore what I could change within php.ini.

    The answer is that max_input_vars is set to 1000 on the shared hosting servers which allows for 1,000 entries on a form.
    Going beyond that is being considered a security risk.

    To be honest, I tend to agree with them that 1,000 entries sound enough. Is it the total of all forms and fields that is causing this high requirement?

    With this limitation in place, I’m afraid I need to explore another form solution I’m afraid…any suggestions?
