more page widgets

I am wanting a way to change the content of my sidebar based on the template that is being rendered. To accomplish this I was just going to have multiple sidebars for the widgets and render them based on the current page.

This works fine until until I want to use something that only has one widget like Pages. Is there a way to get multiple copies of certain widgets so that I can have them on more than one sidebar?
