More fields besides WYSIWYG

Is there a way to add more fields to the posts/pages besides the WYSIWYG editor? I see the custom fields but that seems a little basic.

To be more specific I’m looking to add image fields. I’d like for my client to be able to change out headers and other images that aren’t part of the WYSIWYG field.

Is this possible in any way? This is my first WordPress site.
