More Errors – Help Needed

    Hi Guys

    I am now getting this message below. I have changed the password via the hosting and hopefully it will be back up shortly. I am a little confused as to how this is happening though. Is this is a security issue? Is there an infected plug in? If so how would I be able to tell which one it is?

    Error establishing a database connection
    This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at 37.148.204.81. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

    Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
    Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
    Are you sure that the database server is running?
    If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.

    Hi it turned out to be the host name was typed in the wrong format. So that is fixed however the site is still a little messed up. Only one page is viewable and the rest are all just blacked out. Any ideas?

    We are slowly getting there. Think we nearly back to normality but thanks for the input so far 🙂

    I’m seeing a BBpress error now. You may want to re-install that plugin.

    I had someone working on it who to be fair didnt sound like they had a clue what they were doing. In any case I have since managed to get to the core of the problem myself and I am hoping we are now back to normality.

    Typical just as I type the site has gone down again. Now I am getting blank white pages.

    Made the decision to wipe everything and start from scratch. New theme, new host etc. Not ideal but too many things have been messed around with. I have a feeling the person who was originally working on it caused more damage than help. Anyway thought I would update you 🙂
