  • Find the following in your theme’s style.css file:

    #masthead hgroup {
    	color: #999;
    	float: left;
    	font-size: 14px;
    	font-size: 1.4rem;
    	font-weight: bold;
    	position: relative;
    	text-transform: uppercase;
    	width: 25%;
    }

    and change it over to

    #masthead hgroup {
    	color: #999;
    	float: left;
    	font-size: 14px;
    	font-size: 1.4rem;
    	font-weight: bold;
    	position: relative;
    	text-transform: uppercase;
    	width: 29%;
    }

    All you’re changing is the width value

    What happens to those changes when the theme is updated?

    Add code to Custom CSS Manager and nothing should happen after an update.

    YES! That’s what I was hoping you were doing.
