  • Awesome! I want the drop down menus lmao!!.. The only “bug” persay I notice really off hand is the one drop down menu for: interact, the submenu goes to the left under the one next to it… but it’s all good. =) Now give me the drop menu script lmao! Hahaha…naa. It’s a nice modified theme.. =)

Thanks for the kudos! I appreciate it.
As for the “bug” you mentioned, I did it on purpose. If the drop downs is going “rightward” like the previous three, it does not look too good. It’s best view with Firefox, and looks crappy with IE/Opera. I don’t know it with Safari though.
Many people requested this drop down menu script. Will post it later when I have time and let you know! πŸ™‚

Well, I would “release” it if people love it. But it’s not really my “theme”, I modified from the default Kubrick.. πŸ™‚

Oh ok stchatterbox…I thought maybe while viewing it in FF it was a bug, but then I looked in IE and didn’t see anything going on with it lol! So, I understand your purposes now. =) And with the drop down menus, seems like most of them are hard to please for the various browsers out there… =( But, there is a post on here some where someone made the Suckerfish menus with subs working with WP…prolly will try that one in the meantime.. Any how, I still love the theme….great job! =)

I like 3-col themes. I’m using 3-col relaxation theme right now, but yours I love. The color combination is really nice. The menu is great. Count me in if you make it available for download.

I also approve of, and use, 3 column themes.

However, I also firmly believe in good cross-browser web design. Your site, stchatterbox, has for all intents and purposes a huge nag-banner at the top for anyone using IE. Four out of five of your viewers will most likely be using IE, and the huge nag-banner is poor web design (and also pretty tacky).

A better solution would be to go to sites like positioniseverything.net and read up on how to make a website cross-browser compatible.

@spencerp: For IE and Opera, as for what I have observeed and tested, you have to wait a few seconds before the menu could work. ie, until the page is completely loaded.

@waraxe: πŸ™‚ I totally agree with you. A good webpage design should be compatible with as much browser as possible. I’ve been trying hard to make it look good in IE and Opera, but can’t do it somehow at the moment…. eg., the hovering can’t work. The banner is just a temporary solution. Thanks for your suggestions. πŸ™‚

I’ve posted in detail all about it and just let me know if there’re problems. Hope we could work for something fun πŸ™‚
