Hi basically I would like to know how to change all my link from the source showing “wp-content”………. and wp-includes

For example instead of http://example.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/dummy63-384×263.jpg
i would like to have http://www.example.com/img/macbookbg.jpg

anyone can help please?

Hi there

One way to do this is to:

1. set your Media Settings (from admin area->Settings) not to organise your images by date,

then

2. use the WP Original Media path plugin to set your chosen path.

Another (more comprehensive) way is to edit your wp-config.php file, and set your chosen media directory there.
