    Hello,

    Site – http://bikeadvice.in/

I have just moved to this theme from Thesis.
Initial impressions are quite impressive, however I have two big issues..

    1. In mobile view only on Opera Mini, the front page with all the widgets is not displayed. None of the widgets get displayed.

It works fine on Mobile Chrome and Android default browser. Can you suggest how can I resolve this. This is imp as majority of my readers visit thru Opera Mini

2.I use DISQUS commenting. For some reason, with the new theme its text has gone white/unreadable and changing settings at its settings page is not reflecting on the page.

Moreover, I have a few clarifications to make –

    a. Can I edit the number of posts displayed in each front page widget? If yes, how?
    b. Can we make the Title of Widgets clickable? Its only clickable in the C widget
    c. Carousel: Can i reverse the display ie the original images display as default (rolling across) and when hovered over, they go dark with post title?

    Thanks a lot 🙂

Yes, if you build your front page with widgets unfortunately it won’t be shown in mobile view (e.g. vis Jetpack mobile theme). You have to install a mobile theme plugin and in its settings choose redirection to the recent posts/blog page as the landing page of your site in mobile view. Then mobile users will see your recent posts like in a regular blog.

Just be cautious with the mobile plugin. The popular WP Touch is buggy, often breaks into desktop view and works badly if there’s a caching plugin on. I opted for a MobileView by Colorlabs, but you can try others as well.

As for the number of posts I guess it is governed by the number you’ve chosen in the Latest News tab of the theme Customizer. But I may be wrong.

    Thanks for your response aviascope…
I switched over to a new theme majorly because I did not want to use a mobile-theme plugin.
Currently, I am redirectling my mobile viewers to my blog page (http://bikeadvice.in/blog-page/) which appears fine on all mobile browsers including Opera Mini.

However, I sincerely hope I can display my front page with all the widgets to my mobile viewers…

I would really appreciate a reply from the makers of the theme..

    Thanks

Will have to check Opera Mini when I get a chance. Though it’s probably the worst out of all the mobile browsers. I’m surprised you get most visits from it.
