• Hi,

I’m trying the search out on a client’s development site which uses the Woocommerce Storefront theme.

All seems to work fine. Happy with the response time, especially considering there are over 150,000 products.

Only thing that’s stopping adding this to the live site is on mobile:

Storefront drops the top search box to the bottom of the screen (you click on the magnifying glass) but the Advanced Woo Search results go off the bottom of the screen.

    Try a search for: Danfoss

You can only see part of the results. It’s difficult to scroll down and you can’t get to the bottom of the list.

Would maybe prefer to see the search results go above the search box or the screen be allowed to scroll somehow.

    Is this a possibility?

    Cheers,

    Andy

    Oh no!

Just got this up and running with thd latest version on the Live site and the search results have gone back to displaying below the search box and are basically unusable again.

    This is Storefront theme.

Should I reinstate your test code?

Thanks in advance for your help again!

    Cheers,

I put the add action into functions.Php on the livd site.

Works fine. I thought it would have been incorporated into the last plugin update.

Which snippet should I actually be using, the first or second you posted?

    Cheers,

    Andy

In fact latest plugin updates already include these changes. So you don’t need to use any custom code at all.

    Hi,

That’s what I thought. I’m running the latest version of the plugin and the results list has gone back to appearing below the search box and be basically unusable on mobile.

I put the code snippet into functions.php and it works properly.

    Cheers,

    Update.

Went back to the test site.

Removed the code from functions.php upgraded from 2.11 to 2.12 and the results appear below the search on mobile.

Cleared autoptimize cache just in case. No joy.

Put the snippet back into functions.php and the results appear above on mobile.

    Cheers,

    Andy
