I like the JustWrite theme, but it is not fully optimized on mobile. The responsiveness workes great on an iPad, but on the iPhone 5s, it doesn’t fill the screen.

I don’t own an iPhone and I can’t really say where the problem is. Does the problem persist if you change orientation? Also, did you zoom in/out?

I am having a similar issue but on an iphone6. The site is covering only half of the screen.

Yes the problem persists regardless of orientation or zoom.

Will put up a screeshot from an android phone shortly.

You can try to open header.php and remove this line:

<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width"/>
