I am using WordPress 7.1 with the Kavana theme.

I have changed recently a parameter where I deleted the dates on my articles and since then in the section named “Mes dernières publications” (my last publications), the articles show up in a weird order instead of being classified by chronological order as it shows rightly in the backoffice. I have put back the dates ever since but it did not change the publications order in the home page. I think it might be an error frm the last update I have installed. Help please.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

Could you please clarify how you were able to delete the post date and how you brought it back?

When the posts are sorted using the Post Block settings, they should be displayed from the latest to the oldest. The sorting should use the publication date set for each post in the WordPress post list.

Understanding how the date was removed and restored will help us better understand the behavior you’re experiencing and investigate it further. Check these 2 images:

I found the problem!!! There were two articles pinned, I have no idea why so it was putting them forward in the wrong order 🙂
Thank you though for your response ! all the best
