I’ve been running this plugin since the first WP.com release and to the extent it’s working it’s fantastic! Unfortunately there are a lot of tweets that I’m noticing even just in my own twitter stream that are not being “found” by the plugin and imported as comments.
I have left the importer set to run every 15 minutes and I’m seeing no errors (where would I find them – is there a log?) and I am seeing some tweets imported … but there’s tweets which I think should be imported which aren’t. These can be seen in the regular twitter search function so they aren’t hidden or otherwise protected.
The website is http://atmac.org/
Currently 23 hours old, references the page http://atmac.org/accessible-irc-clients/ without any URL shortening service but the tweetback hasn’t been picked up.
Upon searching, I just realised that other examples mostly are of the form of shortened versions of http://OriginalPostURL?more_stuff_here. Is there any way I could set the plugin to look for these, given that the more_stuff_here is already known? It’s just the string “?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=twitter” I use for Google Analytics tracking of twitter stuff.
Thanks for your help.
