I have two different WordPress sites.

In one I have a row of tools such as paragraph/heading1/heading2, justification, color, underline and so forth.

In the second site, that row is missing. I just have the basic text tools for Bold, Italic, links and so forth.

How do I turn on or see this feature if it is missing?

    Thanks in advance,
    Mike Jackson

  • Have you tried clicking on the “Kitchen sink” icon at the far right of the problem site’s editor?

    Hi Mike,

It sounds like one of two things. Both are easy fixes 🙂

    1. You may be looking at the text tab instead of the visual tab. Look in the upper right of the post text area – you’ll see these two tabs. If you’re in the Text tab, just click over to the visual tab.

    If that’s not it…

    2. You need to open your kitchen sink. In the Visual tab, when you see only one row of icons, the last one in the row (called the Toolbar Toggle in 3.9) will toggle open a second row of icons. Toggle that and you’ll see all your regular icons pop back up.

    Cheers!

    Toolbar Toggle…that was it! Thanks!
