I’m experiencing an issue with the Forminator plugin (version 1.54.0) after upgrading several WordPress instances to version 7.0.
Since the update, the styling in the backend is missing (see screenshot below). This makes it very difficult to edit forms, as elements are sometimes displayed outside the visible area.
I’ve already searched the forum for a solution but couldn’t find anything relevant. If there is an existing fix or workaround, please let me know.
I deactivated and uninstalled the plugin on one of the three websites where I’m experiencing the issue, and then reinstalled it. Unfortunately, the reinstallation did not resolve the problem.
Please find attached a screenshot of the browser console. As far as I can tell, there are no errors related to the plugin, only warnings. The network tab also shows only status 200 responses, with no errors or missing resources.
I hope you’re doing well, and thanks for sharing further info.
I’ve seen a few similar cases, but they are quite random. In those cases, the issue was solved after deactivating/activating the plugin having the issue or another plugin.
Could you please create a backup and try deactivating/activating Forminator? If this doesn’t work, could you please run a conflict test?
On each deactivation, please confirm if it helps with Forminator styles, and also, please confirm the conflicting plugin with us so we can do further tests.
If the issue is fixed after deactivating a specific plugin, please also try to enable it back to confirm if deactivating/activating helped.
It seems the issue has resolved itself, although I’m not sure how. I checked the websites again today, and everything is working fine. I didn’t make any changes, and there were no plugin updates or similar activities.
Since the error is no longer reproducible, I consider this issue resolved.
