It’s been a couple of months since I last made a change to my website.

I went in to change some text on a page and see that the “Publish” button is missing from the “Publish” section on the right-hand side of the page.

Now there only is an “Update” and “Preview Changes” button to click on (along with the “Status, Visiblity and Published on” info.

So even though I’ve made changes to the text on my page, clicked on the “Updat” button and then clicked on the “preview changes” button and verifed that the changes have been made, I have no way of actually publishing the changes to my webiste.

Any idea of where the “Publish” button went and how I can get it back again? (I have no plug-in’s installed)

Update button will save all your changes and therefore, the changes are reflected on your site instantly.

There is no publish button when you are updating something. Look at this picture:

    Good luck.
