I am soory, but i have no explanation for this. Its probably faster to backup your changes and create another staging site. Than copy back the changes to the staging site.

Well, that wouldn’t work my site now is missing those orders…can you point me in any other direction?
Ok, you mean your orders on your LIVE site are removed? Its unlikly that this is caused by wp staging. Wp staging is not changing amy data on your live site. Please deactivate wp staging and create an order. If wp staging is the reason your orders should be kept. Is that true? Are you sure that you are working on the staging site and not live one?

Okay – here’s the deal:
November 2 – I download WP Stating and start working on it. My live site is going, without a hitch, while I upload a new theme, make changes, etc., etc., thanks to your plugin, on my staging site.
I get everything where I want it on staging. Meanwhile, the live site is still ticking away, getting orders.
On Monday, the 21st, I make the switch over from the staging site to the live site. So, I bring the staging info over to the live, and boom, the site looks perfect, love your plugin.
HOWEVER – and this is a big one, I am now not showing ANY woocommerce data from the 2nd through to the 22nd. So, essentially all of the orders that came over while I was working on staging, and then brought the staging over, are not showing up. However, they WERE there, on the live site.
Does that make sense? I have a ticket open with woocommerce and have also called my hosting company to see who can help with this.
thanks!
Hi,
> So, I bring the staging info over to the live, and boom, the site looks perfect, love your plugin.
Thats the most important step! As wp staging is not offering any native option to migrate data from staging to live sites, my assumption is you were doing this manually. It’s highly likely that something went wrong during that migration process.
How did you switch from the staging site to the live site? What were the exact steps?

Yes – something went very wrong during the migration process. I followed the steps found on this forum:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/guideline-for-moving-live/
I don’t think all of the info went from the staging to the root. The only think I did differently is that there were still urls that said ‘staging’ in them – only the ones that I put in while working, and none of the main menu urls (or other menus). So, I used a plugin to rewrite the urls. I can’t image that was it. I’m guessing that since I had to do that, something didn’t migrate properly – OR – I overrode the orders with the stale info from the staging site.
I have not yet deleted the plugin – do you think that would have something to do with it? I deactivated it, but didn’t delete it.
I’ve reached out to woocommerce, too, but not sure they are going to help.
PLEASE HELP!!!
