    Hello,

I am running Twenty Fifteen as a blog.

    My site is here:

    http://growing-faith.org/

According to Bing’s SEO Analyzer I have an important error:

    High Severity Issue

The description is missing in the head section of the page.

    Recommended Action:
Add a description to the <head> section of the page source: <meta name=”description” content=”Descriptive, keyword-rich text that talks about the page content goes here.”>.

    SEO Explanation:
Search engines may use the description provided in the <description> tag in the search engine results page (SERP). A well-written description that pertains to the content of the page and that is relevant to the searcher’s intent can help you increase traffic since it can help improve the click-through rate of your page in search.”

I have the Plugin WordPress SEO by Yoast installed. I can’t find a way to edit my Home page Meta Description. I can edit every other page or post.

I think it is because my Static Front Page is set to Your Latest Posts

However, I can’t create a new Home page if I wanted to switch it.

So, on blog style websites, how do we edit our home page Meta Description?

    Thank you!

Through a more thorough internet search I found a solution.

Within Yoast’s SEO plugin you go to:

Titles & Metas > Home > Meta description template

    Insert your Meta Description there.
