Missing Media Library WP 6.0

    QUESTION: I’ve upgraded to WP 6.0 and the images are no longer visible in the Media Library or on the website. I did a rollback and and the images reappeared. I was wondering if there is some other way I can restore the library without the rollback?

    Thanks for your report. I regret the trouble you’ve had with the WP 6.0 upgrade and MLA.

    I visited your site and it says “Currently Under Maintenance.”

    I have updated several sites to WP 6.0 without any problems, and the changes in WP 6.0 don’t have much to do with the Media Library. Did you try temporarily disabling MLA to see if that resolved the problem?

    Any additional details you can provide will be helpful; thanks. You should also contact me at my web site for email exchange of ideas and a copy of your site health report. I can post a summary here once we’ve found a solution.

    Good Afternoon David,

    Thanks for getting back to me. I think I figured it out but if you could take a look (removed maintenance mode), it would be greatly appreciated.

    My theme is Sydney and it appears that the Elementor plubin El Custom Skin is not compatible.

    Thanks for your update with the good news that you have resolved the problem. I had a quick look at your site and it looks fine now. I am relieved that MLA was not involved.
