Missing Left Thumbnails Style from the widget
-
When using the plugin’s widget, the ‘Left thumbnails’ style option is missing, which pushes the titles, dates, and view counts below the thumbnails instead of to the right of them, as it was in older versions of the plugin. Please fix your widget and add the ‘Left thumbnails’ style back. Thank you!

Are you using the old widgets i.e., not the blocks? If so, these haven’t been touched, and they never had a style dropdown.
The dropdown is only in the Block, not in the widget.
You can set the Left Thumbnails style on the Settings page > Styles tab.
In the Setting page I have Left Thumbnails style.
In the widget I have dropdown with 4 options, without option Left thumbnail. In the version 4.1.1 there are no problems – the thumbnail is on the left and the title with the date and counts is on the right. After that version the title is under the thumbnail.

You can see the photos. Thank you!
Thanks for the screenshots. I understand what you mean and I checked the code of your site.
I think I’ve figured out that there is an issue with a CSS style in the implementation. I need to do some testing and get it out in the next version.
I have a major 4.4.0 release due in a couple of weeks (or sooner).
I wanted to let you know that I’ve fixed this and will be in v4.4
Great work! Thank you very much!
Please check out v4.4 that I released. You will need to ensure any caching e.g. CDN etc is all cleared so the new styles load.
Hi Ajay!
This problem is solved and everything is aligned perfectly now. Thank you very much!
There is another issue that I forgot to mention. When the thumbnail is a .webp version, it gets cropped incorrectly. You can see how it looks on my website right now (there are both .jpg and .webp photos). When the thumbnail is a .jpg, there is no problem. Normally, I have to go into my library to cancel the .webp version from my website, and then the plugin displays the .jpg without any issues. Is it possible to fix this problem with the .webp thumbnails? I can open another thread if you prefer.
That’s great the hear. Please do consider writing a review. It goes a long way with trying to grow the user base.
On the thumbnail cropping, this is native WordPress. I think you might need a plugin that allows you to customise the cropping or thumbnail generation to override how this works.
It isn’t something I’ve tried or can bring into the plugin.
Thank you for your great work! The plugin is fantastic!
