This sounds like a possible conflict caused by your theme or another plugin. To check if it is, can you test with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme?
I’ve tried deactivating all plugins and another theme. Nothing works. The issue persists 🙁

Does this happen with every event or just one / some?

i got the same problems, i running wordpress 4.4.2 and PHP Version 5.6.18

I am using: PHP 7.0.3
I have altered some design stuff with custom css
on the event page. Would that matter in some way?
Just added some stuff, floated them etc.
Shouldn’t do any difference, right? I have not mixed anything with the code for the fields except sizing.

This sounds like a PHP 7 issue we’ve been seeing recently. Are you able to test with another version of PHP?
