Missing Dutch translations

    Hi i’ve tried translating the “Based on %s reviews” and “Powered by Google” several ways to Dutch, but I just can’t get it done.

    The strings also seem to be missing from the translation files provided by you.

    Could you help me with this?

    Hi @daafiejd,

    Could you send your locale code? For instance: it, fr, de_DE, it should related with a WP_LANG variable.

    @richplugins Hi, yes ofcourse.

    The language code is nl_NL.

    The ‘based on .. reviews’ message is missing in the translation file and we can add it in the next release, could you help to translate it correctly?

    About the ‘powered…’ text, unfortunately, it’s an image and we can’t translate this, I can only cook a css code to hide it on your site if you wish, please let me know.

    I’m using 1.8.7 on a website. WordPress language is set to Dutch, my shortcode includes reviews_lang="nl", but the text “Based on … reviews” isn’t translated. What am I missing?

    Hi @zanderz,

    The ‘reviews_lang’ option is showing the existing Google reviews with the specific language, it’s not affect the plugin’s localization.

    To show the plugin’s messages on the specific language, this language should be selected in the general settings of your wp-admin.

    Thanks for the clarification on reviews_lang. As I said, the language of the website is Dutch (nl_NL) but the text isn’t translated. Other plugins (such as Contact Form 7) are translated just fine.

    Could you send debug information from the settings page of the plugin to support[at]richplugins.com?

    PS: Please do not put the debug info here, it’s a public topic, but the debug info can has a private information like the API key.

    Update: I regenerated the MO file from POEdit and now it works fine…

    Dear,
    I have the same problem with german.
    Setting WP : Sprache der Website = Deutsch
    Setting widget: reviews_lang=”de”
    but the text is written in english “Based on 6 reviews…”

    Can you please explain better what is necessary to do?
