Missing color attrbute

hi

I am trying to add the color attribute to the feed, but it never shows up. We do not want the colour attribute on the front end, as it will confuse customers, so we have unchecked

Visible on the product page
Used for variations

Does this mean that the “color’ attribute will not appear in Feed? As it doesn’t seem to appear when we test

How would we get the attribute into the feed without it displaying on the front end/product page?
