    Hi All,

Since upgrading my test site to version 4.0 and now 4.0.3 the Apple Pay button is not displayed.

Things I have tried so far:

    1) I have tried de-selecting the option ‘Payment Request Buttons’ and selecting again.
    2) Clearing WP Cache and browser caches
    3) Changing theme from Canvas child to latest Storefront theme

With no success. I appreciate the button text may have been changed to something else according to previous threads but I simply cannot get any buttons to show on single product, cart or checkout pages that allows me to pay by Apple Pay.

My main site using version 3.* does display an Apple Pay logo on the same Apple device that I am using to test the above site. In addition to this Apple Pay was definitely working on my test site prior to upgrading to v4.*

Although the layout is all wrong as the site has been configured to use Canvas child theme, I have left my test site using StoreFront theme as I know this is supported.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Steve.

  • Hello,

The URL you posted seems wrong. Can you post the correct link?

Really sorry, after updating my live site’s plug-in I realised that my test site was not setup correctly from a Stripe perspective.

I have Apple Pay working on live site with the latest version of plug-in.

    Thanks

    Steve.

Steve, can you explain how you have it set up. Apple pay will not show on my site either. nysscoa.org/shop

    Hi there,

Assuming you have Stripe basics setup and you are using https then all I did was to verify my domain from within the Stripe console following these instructions – https://stripe.com/docs/stripe-js/elements/payment-request-button#verifying-your-domain-with-apple-pay

I had not done this for my test site (and still haven’t which is why my test site did not work) but have done for my live site.

    Hope this helps.

    Steve.
