    Unable to choose products from specific categories and link to product page. Read the app description first before downloading. Description on App Page below, stating that products can be pulled by category, they can’t. Photo’s cut short.

    Pull products from any of these sources:

    • Newest products
    • Best selling
    • On sale
    • Featured
    • Top rated
    • Manual selection
    • By category NOPE!!!!!!!! Technically yes you give two options Product or Category. You do not give option in Product slider to choose which category to pull products from. Yet you that option in category section to exclude categories.

      Then you write that the following are included in Pro Version
    • Go further with Pro
    • The free plugin above is complete and works fully on its own. The separate Pro add-on requires it and extends it through the public hook API, with nothing removed from the free version.

    Thank you for taking the time, and I am sorry the plugin wasted yours. You are right on two of the three points, and both are our fault rather than yours.

    “Manual selection” should not be in that list. It is not finished, the editor says so when you pick it, and leaving it in the description was careless. It is coming out today.

    On pulling products from a category: that one does work, but you had every reason not to find it. The description calls these “sources”, while the setting in the block editor is labelled “Filter”. Choose Filter, then “From Category”, and a category picker appears underneath. Our Elementor widget calls the same setting “Products From”, which is the better name, and the block editor is being changed to match. You are the third person to look for it and not find it, so the naming is the problem, not your reading.

    On photos being cut short: the default is a fixed 4:3 frame that crops to fill, which is rough on portrait photos. Under Style, Image, set Image Fit to “Show full image” and nothing is cropped. The next release adds two ratio settings that shape the frame around your own photos instead, so this stops being something you have to know about.

    One thing I could not work out from your review: what happened with the link to the product page? Both the image and the title link to the product in our code, so if that did not work for you, something else is going on and I would like to know what.
