• While the wordpress.org description touts “free” and “No Subscription” and says it uses WebAssembly libraries, that feature requires a subscription to the Pro plugin which isn’t mentioned anywhere. You have to install to even learn of the existence of the pro version.

    Hi @lonkoenig ,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to review our plugin and documentation.

We would like to clarify that our description is not intended to be misleading. The core image compression features of PixGrow Image Optimizer are free and open-source, and users can access these features without requiring a Pro subscription.

We are also working on introducing some advanced features and additional capabilities to enhance the plugin further. These advanced features are planned for the Pro version, and their development is currently in progress.

We understand your concern regarding the clarity of the documentation. We will review the wording to ensure there is no confusion between the free core features and the upcoming Pro features.

Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. We value community feedback and are committed to making PixGrow Image Optimizer better and more transparent for everyone.

    Best regards,
    PixGrow Team
