At the bottom of each post is my comments count and link. How it looks on my homepage is exactly how I want it to look on my single/permalink page. I’ve managed to get it to somewhat behave by changing the name from #comments-title to #comments-name to override a problem I couldn’t fix. But why won’t it behave and sit above the dashed line like #comments-link does on the homepage?

All I did was remove the comments title out of the comments.php file and place it within the entry-content tags so that it looks identical in placement to the links on the homepage. But it’s been struggle.

I’m in a rush to get this addressed in time for the debut of my mom’s website at a conference she’s attending tomorrow. I’m doing some housecleaning and would love to have this fixed by then. Any suggestions? Please click this link to her site.

    I’m using a Twenty-Eleven child theme.

Okay, problem resolved. I’m going to keep this thread in case it benefits someone else. Instead of floating the comments title to the right, I changed it to text align. That fixed everything. There is a difference between floating a div and simple text alignment. Cheers!
