mirroring

ok so my issue here is i want to know if their is a way to mirror like the last so many blog entries onto a single other page? can you do that with word press? and if so how would i do it?

also upon installing word press i log in and it takes me to a file directory. did i do something wrong? i mean i can find the index and all but wtf thats not very easy to navigate.
