• I’m running a lot of wordpress sites, all at least with wp 4 version, but there is some 4.0.x,4.1.x,4.2.x ,4.3.x,4.4.x ecc…
I feel comfortable with wordpress’s silent minor release auto upgrade, that is done on every wp wordpress that i’m running, but i’m asking:

up to which version will be maintained these minor updates?

    there’s a supported version matrix like this: http://php.net/supported-versions.php ?

    regards

The current version is officially the only one that is supported and maintained. That would be 4.4.x right now.

That doesn’t mean that patches will not be back ported when possible. But you must not rely on that. If a critical bug or exploit comes up and the core developers do not or cannot back port it, that’s to be expected.

It’s nice when they can do that, but really please do not count on it. Use the current version, it is the best way for your site to remain supported.

    Nope, there isn’t.
