    Hi
I am considering moving from yoast as I cant afford to renew their premium plugin and last time I reverted to their free version it broke my website.
It seems from my research it compares well, I just a few questions about the comparison:
Does it work in classic editor?
Does it update the htaccess file?
    Does it support permalinks ?
I am not a developer, Server Manager or SEO expert, I am comfortable using the technology at a basic level but from my research migration from yoast seems a little intimidating, can you offer any support with that ?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello!

    Thank you for considering TSF!

Let’s get right to your questions:

    1. Does it work in Classic Editor?
    Yes.

    2. Does it update the .htaccess file?
No. TSF doesn’t affect any files on your server.

    3. Does it support permalinks?
Yes, and no. “No” because TSF doesn’t affect any WP Core behavior, other than disabling their sitemaps when TSF’s are active and removing the generator tag (in hindsight, we should reinstate that). “Yes” because TSF uses WordPress’s native Rewrite API to generate canonical URLs and sitemap links.

    4. Can you offer support with migrating?
Please refer to https://tsf.fyi/docs/migrate. Do mind the caveats (view more details here, we want to make it seamless)!

If you have thousands of posts, be mindful that migrating isn’t always the best solution without some development experience. If you only have a handful of posts and pages, you might be better off starting over or inspecting each page manually. Luckily, TSF notifies you of issues after migrating via its SEO Bar.

Yet unfortunately, we’re strapped for time, so we cannot provide dedicated onboarding support. Nevertheless, I hope this helps you get started either way!
